Orders & Returns

We need your receipt for all return requests.  Goods returned must be in original packaging/box and condition.

We cannot accept goods returned with cables cut, parts missing or in an unsaleable and clearly used condition. 

Buyer’s rights and guarantee

AquaCor Aquarium are an Australia registered company and follow the Australia Consumer Law’s rights and obligations. There is no overseas laws applied in this store – we are not an overseas seller, and we only sell to Australia customers.

We are not a grey importer, we guarantee that all electrical products we sell are manufactured modified for Australia 240v/50Hz safe use and come with Australia standard power plug top that has black insulation on the end of the pins. Aquacor Aquarium does not offer a wide range of different brands of similar products, but focus on import and sale of a range of high quality products we can back confidently.

Return policy

If goods turn faulty, the buyer must contact us via phone or email first to clarify what the problem is. If the issue is a goods quality problem or we are not able to identify the problem via phone/email, then we will request the buyer to send the “faulty goods” back to us at the buyer’s cost. We do not accept any COD parcels. We pay the return postage after goods are repaired or replaced (at our discretion).

To help identify warranty periods we apply special marks on our products to process claims quickly. We also open and check the returned goods at Australia Post to ensure the returned goods is as the buyer described under warranty goods.  If the goods prove not to be inside warranty or sold by us, then, we will take photos as evidence and add this buyer to our block list as we do at our eBay store.

Normally, we always keep replacement parts in stock for years and prefer to do a replacement warranty for customers.

To get a fast processing of your warranty, the buyer should send the goods with the copy of their invoice and short description of the problem. Please post to the address below (goods are not accepted at our Guildford Warehouse):

Refund policy

If a customer changes their mind after they have paid or received their goods, they can contact us directly for a full refund minus the real postage cost we paid for delivery. All return goods must still be in original packing, have not been used and not be missing any parts.  Sorry, but we do not offer refunds or exchange once the goods have been used.

Sorry, we cannot accept returns on the following products if you change your mind:

  • opened aquarium food
  • goods ordered to your custom specifications
  • goods purchased from bargain auctions
